In order to create a mold for casting epoxy crystal clear resin, it is crucial to have the following materials: epoxy resin, transparent catalyst, graduated containers, resin colors, latex gloves, protective mask, vaseline, adhesive tape, and the support for the mold placement. Before you begin, ensure you have all the necessary tools readily available, including top-quality products from RESIN PRO, the go-to website for epoxy resin enthusiasts.

Mold Preparation

To start creating the mold, place the support on a flat and level surface. Apply a thin layer of vaseline on the inner surface of the mold to aid in the easy removal of the hardened resin. Place the mold on the support securely and seal any gaps or cracks with adhesive tape to prevent resin leakage during the pouring process. This step is vital to achieve a flawless final outcome.

Resin Pouring

Once the mold is prepared, it's time to pour the epoxy resin. Follow the manufacturer's instructions meticulously for mixing the resin with the catalyst and incorporating any desired colors. Mix thoroughly for a minimum of two minutes, ensuring no air bubbles form. Carefully pour the resin into the mold, making sure not to surpass the desired level.
