Polyurethane two-component varnish, glossy or matte (depending on the preparation), in 100 ml [3,51 oz] jar (100 ml [3,51 oz] correspond to a 400 ml [14,07 oz] can). Universal two-component kit to achieve the desired effect: depending on the preparation, it is possible to obtain either a glossy or a matte finish. Ideal to protect any resin and paint in a professional way. When catalysed, the protective clear coat is resistant to chemicals, UV rays and scratches. The package features two separate containers for the two components (the polyurethane clear coat and the catalyst), which should be mixed at the time of use. Recommended for resins that do not contain phosphorescent pigments, wood and various types of surfaces. Work in a ventilated area. Tips for use: Prepare the mixture of polyurethane clear coat and catalyst in the measuring cup included in the kit. For applications with Spray Gun, dilute the preparation with polyurethane thinner (you can use our polyurethane thinner).  Spray Gun and polyurethane thinner are included in the kit. Always remember to prepare only the quantity you need, after the preparation the mixture can last for about 24 hours (20°C) [68 F]. REMOVE WITH ACETONE AND/OR NITRO THINNER (before the product has completely dried).

We recommend to store the product in a dark, cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. The tools must be washed with IPA (isopropyl alcohol).  

Golden Leaf is a particular paint based on metallic purples, dispersed in a solution of petroleum resin and white spirit. Once spread, the product forms a highly effective metallized film. Water-repellent, will not crack, peel or flake. As top coat on already treated coloured wood, Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra significantly extends the intervals between each restoration. When used as a single product, with a two-coat application it prevents greying on vertical surfaces with a 12 UV-protection factor compared to untreated wood. Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra features active ingredients to protect the coating against the action of mould, algae and fungi. No need to sand before application, easy and smooth. During coating, the finish is still workable. Storage Up to 5 years and longer if the can is stored in a dry place and hermetically sealed. If thickened by frost, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use. Surface preparation Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%). Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra is ready to use and should not be diluted. Stir well before use. If possible, please apply the first coat to all sides before installation. Particularly oily timbers need to weather off (for approximately 6 weeks) after installation. Thereby the wood will gain more absorbent power and the finish will penetrate optimally. A coloured base coat is recommended, e.g. Osmo One Coat Only, Natural Oil Woodstain or Country Colour. For renovations, clean all old microporous wood finishes thoroughly. Freshen up greyed wood with Osmo Wood Reviver Power-Gel before applying Osmo Clear Uv-Protection-Oil. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding. Do not sand smooth surfaces thinner than P120. The final result may be influenced by several factors, including the natural features of the wood. Therefore, a trial application is always recommended, especially for unfamiliar timbers. If you wish to have additional protection against blue stains, decaying and insects, you should pre-treat the wood on all sides with Osmo WR Base Coat.
