Optimal Catalyst Dosage
Determining the correct amount of catalyst for your epoxy resin is crucial for successful results. The recommended dosage of catalyst varies depending on the type of resin and the manufacturer's specifications. As a general guideline, when working with 200 grams of resin, it is advisable to add approximately 2-3% of catalyst. For instance, if you are using RESINPRO's Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin, it is recommended to add between 4 and 6 grams of catalyst for every 200 grams of resin. Following the manufacturer's instructions on ratios is essential to ensure proper catalyzation and achieve the best outcome.
Mixing the Resin and Catalyst
Once you have determined the correct amount of catalyst, it is essential to mix it thoroughly with the resin. Pour the resin into a clean container and add the catalyst following the recommended proportions. Stir the mixture slowly and meticulously for at least 2-3 minutes to ensure a homogeneous blend. Pouring the Mixture into Molds

Curing and Demolding

Once fully cured, carefully remove the product from the molds. Optionally, use sandpaper or other tools to refine the surface and achieve the desired finish.
